• Support the Virtual Design & Construction team at Victaulic by maintaining and improving their project management web application
• Manage small to medium projects to improve the team’s Standard of Procedures by designing, building, testing, and deploying features, automations and tools resulting in major qualitative and quantitative return on investment
• Design and develop innovative algorithms and automations, resulting in significantly more accurate and efficient quotes, and more importantly, creating new sales lead, leading to a projected outcome of millions of dollars in new sales over the next 5 years
• Play a key role in the app migration to Microsoft Azure by setting up and deploying Azure resources such as SQL databases, App Services, and automated build/deployment pipelines
• Detect, document and fix existing and arising system defects and bugs
• Assist in the process of hiring and onboarding new developers by interviewing, reviewing, mentoring, and supporting new hires

• Design, develop and maintain Nationwide's Commercial Lines Agent Portal to replace the existing legacy system
• Contribute in the full stack development with a focus on the Front End and on APIs
• Participate effectively in the entire software development life cycle from requirements analysis, to design, development, integration and testing
• Build automated end to end unit testing to prevent potential regression defects
• Detect, document and fix existing and arising system defects and bugs
• Assist in GitHub PR reviews and ensure that best coding practices are taking place
• Provide support and guidance to co-workers, to maximize their efficiency
• Collaborate with business to refine requirements and designs, and to provide effort estimations on deliverables
